are you goingto dance with husband for all of the other slow songs besiides "YOUR" song?

i dont know if we will even have time maybe a few of them....but all the weddings i been to the bride and groom have been so busy with other things....i dont want it that way though i want pics outta the way so i can do what i want not have to be pulled away constantly

Probably not b/c FH hates dancing and really does not know how. I am lucky he will be dancing with me to our first song!!

for other slow songs, i danced with our best man and dh's uncle and one of my uncles, but dh ended up cutting in to every one of them! i didnt plan on anything, it just happened.

Probably. That's what we've always done. Every wedding or anytime we go out.......a slow song comes on, he gives me the "look" and we dance. I can't see it being too different on our wedding day ;)

He was the best man in our friends wedding, and sitll, the same thing happened

I think we only danced to one besides our 1st dance song (it was our runner up 1st dance song and my favorite slow song and we were actually on our way to do something else and only stopped to dance because a big stink about it) By the time we were ready to relax and stay on the dance floor the DJ was playing mostly faster stuff...

Our DJ played a song where it was man's choice, so DH asked if he could dance with his aunt who came and I said that was fine. One of the GM danced with me.

For the most part, though, all the slow dances, we danced together as husband and wife.

I was thinking of dancing with my brother and FH dancing with his sister and halfway thru switching and me dancing with his brother and him dancing with my sister...thought it would be cute, but I have no idea to what song we should dance to! ANY SUGGESTIONS?

yes! I have so many slow songs on the DJ list, I'm afraid it's TOO many! There are so many songs that mean a lot to us, I want those special moments at OUR wedding!

See, my fiance doesn't dance unless it's a slow dance, so I am incorporating quite a few slow dances into the night just so he can be on the dancefloor with me. I won't dance with anyone besides him for the slow dances because of that.

only the ones that i'm having the band play "for us"... there are like three out of all of the slow songs that are special to me and vinny so we'll dance to them...

other than that, i want to dance with my grandfather, i would love to dance with my FFIL (we do a lot at weddings already), my brother for sure, my best friend jason, my dad besides just the father/daughter dance and maybe a few others-- cousins and whatnot... it's pretty normal i think.

i think you should try! maybe not ALL the songs but its important to remember the day is about the 2 of you and to share those quiet times together.

Ok, I feel like a slut............I slow danced with lots of other boys to slow songs. I slow danced with my DH during the first song and the last song, but for the slow songs in between, I danced with a lot of guy friends and my best friends dad. Most times, my DH was outside smoking with his friends during the slow songs anyway, so I don't feel so bad. I think a lot of boys want a dance with "the bride" on her wedding day.
