highlight the two rows, right click, go to "format cells", the alignment tab, and then under text control there is a checkbox for merge cells..HTH

1. click both rows that you wanna merge,
2. then "format cell"
3. "alignment" tab
4. checkbox option to merge cells.

highlight the rows ------ right click ------- format cells ---------- alignment ------------- check off merge cells
When highlighting the rows, be sure to highlight the row itself, not just the cells...
