went to lenoards and loved it...anything negative i should know?

i totally loved it and im so excited...the price i got was amazing for the amt included..chair covers and add ons...i was even going to look at the place bc i thought it was out of my price range..i realized i left without asking a couple of questions..is valet included? is there a food tasting before u book? (although my mom has been there for a wedding and liked it) my only concern is that there are many rooms but they said they dont start or end anything at the same time...has anybody ever been there and did u find it chaotic or anything with so many parties? did u hear other ppls music from room to room...i will have the contential room and the empire room for my cocktail hour...also do they have any area in the back for pictures? thanks and please tell me any negative things u have heard

I know a friend of mine went to a wedding there recently and while she said she loved the decor and everything she said the food was not that good.

I have never been there so I cannot tell you firsthand. I would suggest doing a food tasting.

HTH!!

I am getting married at Leonard's in August. We went to a food tasting after we booked our date. The food was delicious, however, you only taste the cocktail hour food. My friend was a Bridesmaid last month at a wedding there and said that all the food was great. I'm not sure about valet being included, it has been a topic on the Leonard's board, I would call your BM and ask him about it.

i went to a wedding there. the food was ok. the decor was totally not my thing at all. and i hate how you see other brides during your wedding. theres like 3 rooms in a row and theres usually alot of stuff going on. when i went there was another wedding and a (forgive me, i forgot the name) sweet 15 going on. loud obnoxious kids running around

for me valet wasnt included, for 300 guests i have to pay $500, besides that im getting my food catered from outside, Leonards will not be doing it, but ive heard good reviews about the food. Their are ample amount of areas to take pictures inside also and parts in the front. I would call ur BM and ask those question lingering. Good Luck!
p.s - i heard they do a good job seperating brides and stuff, but if that is ur biggest concern u should look for a place that does one wedding at a time...other than that, if ur happy go for it!

Re: went to lenoards and loved it...anything negative i should know?

I'm not sure on the valet.

We visited Leonards twice in our hunt. The price being offered was incredible. However, we ended up not booking there because the crowd there can be overwhelming. There is the one hallway where guests from all three rooms wait. That was really the turn off for me. Although we weren't looking for a place that does only one wedding at a time, we were looking for a bit more crowd control/privacy.

Bottom line, it all depends what is important to you and what you're looking for.

Good luck in your decision.
