Do you have a wedding website?
Just wondering how many brides/grroms are using this as in information highway for their guests? We are putting the information in our invites, but we're also putting it on our website, plus other information.
If you have a website, who did you go through? What kind of information are you putting on?

We do. Here's a screenshot of the homepage so you can get an idea of what we've included. We'll probably add a photo album after the wedding.

I'm using the LIW one. I love it for my OOT guests because there is some hotel info on it and good directions . . . not mapquest ones ! ! !!

LIW & the knot
(i used the knot when i first started this whole planning and had it printed on my STD's) i like the LIW ~ i think has more infomation and is very user friendly

I made mine on LIW and I am toally obsessed with it! I check it everyday for guestbook signings and I update info and pictures whenever I can www.LIWeddings.com/weddings/MissMaster13/ Plus it was FREE and SO EASY to do!! I did all the wording at work and then went home and plugged in the pictures!!

I just purchased a domain name with our names.... eg. www.scottandtracey.com
I am making my own site through a website program, but had no clue where to start! lol lol. This is helping me alot.
You can get cheap domains through godaddy.com and they also have webbuilders there!

I don't like the long names either. Too much for our guests to type in..... lol lol lol

You can purchase a domain name for about $10, then you also have to have server to host your files.
We did ours using an open-source template from http://www.oswd.org/.
here is a screen shot:
It was really popular with our guests.

I use totalchoicehosting.com to host my website. It's only $5 per month for hosting and then you pay $12 a year for domain registration. You do need to know a little bit about web development to do that. If you have something like Frontpage, it makes it pretty easy for someone who isn't familiar with web design to create a new site.

if you have a HTML editor like FrontPage - it should be fairly easy for you to use the template and then adjust to your liking.
I can try to help too.
