I saw a home we love but... does anyone know

anything they can tell me about Merrick?? I don't know a thing about it - How are the schools? Is there a nice town? Parks? Does the town get involved? We love the house - I don't know anyone who lives in Merrick - and I haven't looked at any other homes there so we just don't know? Is there a catholic church? How about a catholic school? If anyone lives there I would love to hear anything you could tell me. It looked very nice to me - it seems like a nice place to live?? Thanks -

Please give me your e-mail - what are the things to consider - We have to call the couple selling their home on Sunday night with our final bid - we have looked at so many homes (not any in Merrick) but we truly love the home (it has almost everything we want) the location is not the best but it's not the worst either (it's sourth of Sunrise but it's not far from Sunrise (but that's just about the only down we could come up with) Like I said I don't know anything about Merrick - I have been trying to find things on the internet - but haven't found out much so far. Thank you!

Do you mind me asking, how much are they asking for the home? I saw a three bedroom cape listed in the Merrick Life (local community paper) for $625,000 - outrageous!!
