Ladies I need your help about Las Vegas!!!!!!!! ASAP
whoever ever been to LasVegas or just knows good info about Las Vegea I need your help. I want to plan a trip for 2007 but give it as a Christmas gift. We never been to Las Vegas and of coarse I don't want it to be over the top expesive. What hotel would be nice to go to for a weekend?
What month is a nice month to go out there?

When I stay in Vegas, I like to stay around the area of Monte Carlo, Ceasars, Bellagio area. These mid-strip hotels, are in a good proximinty to great restaurants, bars & shopping.
Late Spring is a good time to go.....not too hot, perfect for the pool, and walking around.
Weekends are normally more $$$ than mid-week, but you may want to check out Monte carlo or the Flamingo Hilton and check their rates.

I love the Mirage - right in the center of the strip and has a great pool area.

I stayed at the Mirage, Harrahs, and the Rio(off the strip but there are shuttles often)... Loved them all!

I went in April once and the weather was great. We stayed at MGM Grand which was nice. If you want to splurge a little stay at the Bellagio! It's beautiful!

Spring time is a great time to be there. I made the mistake once of going in August and it was brutal.
I happen to like the Monte Carlo the best of all the hotels I stayed in while in Vegas. The rooms were nice, the pools area was gorgeous and the people were friendly. I also loved the Aladin but I think it is now Plantet Hollywood so I dont know if it is the same.
I didnt like Ballys at all, the rooms were small and the walls were so thin that I heard the guy in the room next to us coughing alllllllllll night long.
A great show to see at a reasonable price is Lance Burton. He is an amazing magican at the Monte Carlo. He really catches the crowds attention.

I love this hotel too. Whatever you do DO NOT go there in August...I had to one yr for work...it was sooooooo hot
