*NWR*- Teachers?
A lot of us on here are teachers or are becomming teachers.
I need some opinions:
I'm doing a unit plan on immigration. Does anyone have an idea of any movies that a 5th grade class could watch- in which I could include the theme 'immigration"

what about
"In America" it is about an Irish family who comes to NY.
Also "Angela's Ashes"- another irish one but it may be above their heads.

This website has compiled a list of movies that have to do with immigration... scroll through it and you'll see a lot of movies you are familiar with... maybe you'll see one you think works for your lesson.
