marriage license fiasco!!!! UPDATE: FUNNY.... YOU GOTTA READ
let me make this short and sweet and then i have to run....
FH CANNOT FIND HIS SOCIAL SECURITY CARD OR A PAYSTUB WITH HIS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER PRINTED ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and our marriage license appointment is in less than an hour (nj does things a little different, you need an appointment)
i'm hoping that his selective service system card (the card guys get when they register with the military at the age of 18) will do.
ok, gotta go.......

UPDATE: nj requires your social security card or your paycheck stub with the number on it.
fh's paycheck stubs DO NOT have his full ss# printed on them. i was going CRAZY!!!!
i was able to find his actual card AT THE BOTTOM OF HIS SOCK DRAWER... YES, YOU READ RIGHT, HIS SOCK DRAWER.... men
we got there and there were no problems..... BUT.... (YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS ONE)... as we swear that everything we are stating is true... kind of like on tv when people are sworn in... she actually said (and i quote)....".... blah blah blah... and i swear that i have not been found to me MENTALLY INCOMPETENT....blah blah blah...."
i thought i was going to DIE!!!! it took everything i had to not bust out laughing in the woman's face.
end of story, we accomplished what we set out to do... get a marriage license.

Your town hall requires your SS card? Ours just asked for a birth certificate (which I don't even remember showing them) and our passport or driver's license.
