Jericho Terrace available date open
Hello all i am new here and writing this for my friend who has booked Jericho Terrace at the end of June in 2007. She is considering changing halls and would like to cancel her contract with them however they demand that the hall be booked in order for her to get her $7500 deposit+payments back and to avoid paying for the wedding itself if the date isnt rebooked!
She is booked for the the skylight room and penthouse room.

She had an issue with her BM manager. He basically told her that they never have more than 2 weddings in one night and assured her this but she found out that now they are having three. Shes not upset about the fact that there are three weddings but she is upset about the fact that he lied to her. He also lied about something else he told her and i dont mean to be rude but id rather not mention because i dont feel its fair to badmouth them. Its a beautful place and i dont want to be disrespectful.
Anyways she told them that she signed the contract based on false pretense and its not fair for them to withold her money...so far no luck with her money being returned to her but shell keep fighting for it...

TELL HER TO WRITE TO THE BBB AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND SAY EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID. WHEN I REMARRIED 9 YEARS AGO WE BOOKED WITH A CATERING HALL THAT SOLD OUT 2 WEEKS LATER. WE REALLY DID NOT CARE FOR THE NEW OWNERS SO WE ASKED FOR OUR MONEY BACK. THEY WERE GIVING US A HARD TIME SO I WROTE TO BOTH OF THOSE AGENCIES TOLD THEM THAT WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT UNDER FALSE PRETENSE AND THEY COMMITED FRAUD AND TWO WEEKS AFTER THAT I HEARD BACK FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL WHO TOLD US TO GO PICK UP OUR MONEY!!!! THEY HANDED US $2,000. IN CASH WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. I WISH HER LUCK..

That is so unfortunate. That's the only thing I didn't like about Jericho Terrace. I really wanted a place that had only 1 wedding at a time but my FH really loved it. We booked for the beginning of June and I wanted a later date but after talking with a few of our vendors, it's just too much of a hassel. I hope everything works out!
