What color vest/tie is your FH or did your DH wear on the big day?

FH is looking into his tux. I see many grooms on here wore white or ivory...

I think we're going to do black tuxes with silver vests. Probably a light silver for fh and a darker silver for the boys.

He wore silver.

MOH wore a rivera blue dress with silver shoes. My flowers were light blue and ivory.

he wore a silver vest and tie. the GM wore red. our dads were supposed to be in all black, but they ended up being red...nota big deal at all...

He wore white. I wanted him to wear a light silver, like platinum but he wanted to wear white. He looked very handsome.

DH wore black vest and black tie. GM wore champagne vest and tie.

I am a traditional girl so I stuck with black. Plus I love black and white photos and I don't like when it looks like the groom isn't wearing a tie - white blends. Looks great in person, but not great, IMO, in pics

DH is wearing a white vest and tie and the guys are wearing black vests with a silver and black striped tie.

DH is wearing a champagne vest and tie since that goes with my dress better. They guys are wearing chocolate brown vests and ties. My dad and grandpa are wearing mercury vest and tie (dark silver).

He didn't pick it out yet but I told him what the colors are and he can do what he wants. I think he is going to wind up getting a white vest and the boys will wear black.

He keeps telling me powder blue with ruffles. I say- fine with me! It matches pink!

the only tuxes that i like ( and luckily FH likes) are with black vests and ties. . . i love the black on black look esp. if the black has some kind of black on black pattern!

My Husband wore a black tux with a silver vest and tie....the groomsmen wore black tuxes with a redish color tie and vest to match the bridesmaids

my dress is white with pewter beading, so FH will have a pewter vest and tie with a white shirt.

my girls are wearing navy with silver sashes, so the GM will wear navy with a silver diamond pattern on them.

DH wore black vest and black bow tie because he felt white would wash him out.

FH will be wearing an Ivory vest and tie, the GM will wear black vests and a champagne colored tie.

As you probably recall since you were at my wedding FH wore an ivory vest and tie, gm's wore black vest w/ ivory tie and dad's wore black vest black tie. My dress was ivory, so were told that was our best bet. I originally liked silver vests, but was told I couldn't use silver because my dress wasn't white.
