Sooooo excited! We picked our menu for The Crescent!!! Wanna seeee??
We met with Denise, and she was SO nice to work with!! My FH and parents got to sample some of the hors d'oeuvres (YUMMY coconut shrimp, crabcakes, lambchops, chicken in peanut sauce, etc.). LOVE the Crescent! It was an eh kind of day and the view was STILL wonderful!!!!! I got some homework to take home (table plans, favor lists, guest lists, etc.) - and it just all seems that much more REAL now! Here's everything we picked:
Champagne/Strawberry Reception (3:30-4:30)
Cocktail Hour (4:30-6)
Passed Hors D'Oeuvres:
Baby Lamb Chops with Roasted Garlic Mint Sauce
Potato Pancakes with Apple Sauce and Sour Cream
Coconut Shrimp with Caribbean Salsa
Mini Maryland Crabcakes with Herb Dijon
Sushi (California Rolls, Spicy Tuna Rolls and others)
Jumbo Shrimp with Spicy Cocktail Sauce
Pigs in a Blanket 
Baked Clams Oregenatta
Chicken Satays with Peanut Sauce
Italian Antipasto Station with our monogram ice sculpture as centerpiece
Carving Station with Marinated Sirloin Steak and Peppercorn Loin of Pork
Pasta Station with Plum Tomato and Basil and Penne a la Vodka - served with Eggplant Rollatini and Garlic Knots
Mexican Station - Make your own fajitas and nachos with seasoned chicken and beef, pick de gallo, salsa verde and guacomole, diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, sour cream and olives - FROZEN MARGARITAS!
Reception (6-10)
Appetizer/Salad Combo:
Fresh Mozzarella with Beefsteak Tomato and Roasted Red Peppers - Tri-Colored Field Greens Tossed with Balsaic Vinaigrette served with baked parmesan cheese crouton
Dinner Choice of:
Filet Mignon with roasted sweet garlic cream
Pecan Crusted Salmon
Chicken Breast stuffed with mozzarella and spinach
Dessert:
Chocolate Wedding Cake with White Chocolate Mousse and Raspberry Infusion - White Buttercream on the outside with our monogram on it. This is what our cake will look like:
Assorted Pastries, Cookies and Chocolate Dipped Berries on each table
Ice Cream Sundae Station (!!)
Cordials with International Coffee Bar, including Espresso and Cappuccino, cognacs and brandy, Coffee and Tea Service
Interesting note for Crescent brides... if you're doing bathroom baskets, no Advil or Tylenol allowed in them since they serve alcohol. Good to know!

The cake is beautiful and the menu looks great! I'm so happy you had a good experience with Denise cause she's usually a nightmare! Just a heads up cause I know I posted it after my sister's wedding. They put tip cups out on all the bars in the cocktail hour and reception room (which is my mind is double dipping after the 18% grat. fee). If you mind it also, you might want to say so.
