EW wwww on the Train to work this morning!!
This lady sits next to me on the train...and she smells like moth balls. ALL THE TIME! no joke. Whateva..I ignore it bc sometimes stinky people cant help it.
THEN she pulls out a nail clipper and starts clipping her fingernails and she like throws them on the floor. ewwwww
So when she switched to the hand nearest me (her left) I said something. Nicely I lean over and said, "Excuse me but you realize this is not your bathroom it is a public train, right? I think it is really disgusting and unsanitary what you are doing." She looked at me with this blank look like she couldnt believe I said something and then got up and asked to sit next to someone else..
I was so not risking getting a fingernail shot at me. I wanted that lady to leave!
GOD some people are just ridiculous! ahhh now I feel better!

LOL Diane you always have the best train stories!!! Te other day ame and Suzy went to the city and I was freaking out because this lady who looked like an ooomp looompa from the New Willy Wonka movie was staring at me - and after the story you told me about the "scare" i get freaked out now

hahaha thats funny...yah i kno...some interesting things happen on the train..but fingernails..GROSS i couldnt take it...i had to tell her to stop..
imagine having a nail get you in the eye...oh my gosh..i would have thrown a punch HAHAHA

Newsday has a column now where you can write in stories about how rude or nice people are on the LIRR. Just today there was a comment about people taking care of personal hygeine aboard the train. I've had that happen too and have said something.

Ewww u wanna hear one even more disgusting....I used to work in an office while and my boss was a very trendy man - about mid 50s, always dressed and groomed perfectly, but when he would get back to the office in the afternoon he would sit down at his desk - which was about 5 feet from mine and clip his TOENAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was sooooooooooooooo gross i wanted to puke and he would do it while he was on the phone with cutomers and saw absolutely nothing worng with it----YUCK!!

ALL the time there is something being said or done that just makes me boil inside...haha
jenn that is GROSS! my god....people realize that bathrooms are to do stuff like this...im sure we would never do that stuff...we are friggin classy that is why.
