DIY Pocketfolds
Hey girls!! I am looking to see where some of you got the supplies and instructions to doing your own Pocketfold Invitations. Does it really save money?

Re: DIY Pocketfolds
I'm going to go to Paper Presentation in NYC in the New Year to price them out, DIY seems like it will be cheaper then ordering them but you have the weigh the time that will be spent doing them. I really want Pocketfolds but don't want to spend a lot so I figure if it's affordable to do DIY then I will just start like 10 months before the wedding.

Re: DIY Pocketfolds
We did our own invitations with pocketfolds. We got all of our materials (except the embosser that we used on the backflap of the envelope) from Paper Presentation - we went to the store in person first to get one package of everything so we could play with it and make sure it would work on our home computer/printer. Then we purchased everything we needed online - there's a discount online if you buy multiple packages of things. It definitely saved us money. I think we spent about $350 for our invitations total, not including postage. That was for 110 pocketfolds, two pieces of 5x7 cards to go inside (one for the invitation, one as a "directions and information" insert) and one 4.5 x 5.5 card (I think that was the size) for the RSVP postcard, as well as 110 "rubber skeleton leaves" to seal the pocketfold.
The hardest part was figuring out the wording, font, etc. and printing out all the pieces took a while. The assembly was easy - we just invited a few friends over on a Saturday to help, and fed them snacks all afternoon. :) If you're looking for a pretty invitation but still want to save costs, I highly recommend doing it this way.

Re: DIY Pocketfolds
I ordered my pocketfolds from cardsandpockets.com. I liked their styles the best.
