Ok Ladies - tomorrow night is the night. Here are the details for tomorrow night's GTG.
Date & Time: 10/6/06 at 6:30 pm.
FASHION 40
202 West 40th Street (between 7th & 8th Ave.)

**Reservation is under "LESLIE"
**2 for 1 drink specials between 5:30 - 8:00 pm.
You are welcome to bring a guest (or 2), but I need a final head count so please let me know if you are coming by posting here or sending me an FM. They will not seat us if a majority of our party isn't there by 6:30 pm so please let me know.

Hi everyone. As some of you may recall, I posted some time ago about having an '07 GTG and a Latina Brides GTG. I've received quite a few messages about both so it looks like we're combining both to have one big FABU LIW GTG in NYC.  I've been FM'ing back and forth with quite a few of you (thanks for all of your ideas and input), so here are the details we have thus far for everyone else to see:
DATE: Friday, October 6, 2006 in NYC.
VENUE: Here are the three finalists .........
CHARRASCARIA PLATAFORMA (although it is a bit pricey)
FASHION 40 (the crowd favorite)
CARMINE'S in Times Square (great locale for a crowd like ours with family style food - YUM!)
THE TIME LOUNGE in the TIME HOTEL in TImes Square - great appe-teezers, good music, yummy drinks in the heart of NYC.
Many have also suggested eating at Carmines and having drinks at Fashion 40 afterward just to cap off the evening.
Either way, the GTG is in full swing so post here if you can make it or FM me. I will periodically update this thread with info. but please feel free to post any other suggestions for restaurants/lounges, bars,etc. as we are still undecided on the exact venue for the evening.
Looking forward to making this a GTG to remember.

Forgot to ask this question:
Should the GTG be brides only or FH's allowed?
Does it matter?
I don't know if everyone can bring their FH on that day so please post your thoughts here.

might i suggest we do a place with drinks and maybe just appetizers? just b/c it may get expensive to go to dinner with a big group plus, if its family style, we'll have to order tons! and then there is the whole splitting of the bill.. that can be tricky if some people had drinks and others didnt...
just a thought.....

My vote is for Fashion Fourty b/c I work right there...
Carmines... I don't think you can make reservations especially on a Friday night... they are always super crowded and always super loud.
Fashion Forty... if we make it for a Monday night... Ladies drink free!!!!!
Other two places I have never been too... so I have no comments about them...
Either way... Im down!

What time and are the boys allowed? I would like to come with FH and I think it would be fun. But just let me know what time you are planning on. I also agree what someone posted about dinner and drinks being pricey-- maybe just a bunch of apps and drinks are a good idea!!! I think I'd be down for that-- depending on the time and stuff.

I would LOVE to have it on Monday night (I'm all for the free drinks too  ), but it's a difficult night for many people so I think it will have to be Friday. Besides, NYC on a Friday night is jumping. With the large group of women we're coming with, people will probably think we're the new contenders for "America's Next Top Model."
From the feedback I've received, many people want the GTG to be a Girl's Night Out. Some FH's aren't really into the "LIW" chat thing and wouldn't want to come anyway, while others are totally comfortable with it. I'd like to hear what you all think which is why I posted the questions above.
Either way, we're going to have a ball.
Prinses, this is probably what I'll look like after a few drinks anyway.
