today is our RSVP date and....
still have over 30 guests who have not responded! some I know are coming, some I have no clue.
Why can't people check a box and drop a postage paid envelope in the mail?! Is it so hard?
When I get an invite, I get so excited I send it in right away! If I know I can't go, I send it in too. What is with PEOPLE?

I hate when people don't show the courtesy by responding ASAP....
For my engagement party... there were about 5 people that didn't respond.. I said s c r e w 'em! I didn't care at that point and I didn't even bother to call to reconfirm that they were or were not coming.. had they showed up I would've said: "Oh.. I thought you weren't coming.....ummmm.. find a effin' seat wherever you can"! But I know that it's a wedding and not an engagement party.. .the only thing that you can do is call to see what's going on....

A good 10 people never responded to our invites. Am I crazy by being annoyed at the wasted stamps. They're not cheap.

That's about the same number we were still waiting on when our RSVP date came and went. The whole RSVP thing has stressed me out more than anything else. It really stinks how inconsiderate people can be, especially when they don't even give you a reason as to why they waited so damn long.

EXACTLY. It's the COURTESY of following the rules, playing the game....making the bride's life easier! Just mail the darn card!
Thank goodness our non-responsives didn't send them in post-wedding date, I probably wouldnt' have been very nice and I would've returned them.

30 rsvps or 30 guests being 15 rsvp's i think that is normal.. i have 1-3 still stagering in a day and mine was a week ago yesterday!... people who know they are coming for a while?!?! this is Y i made it a little early! i was missing about 25 rsvps come rsvp day!

Only 30 guests outstanding?? That's not too bad - only 15 invites. With one week to go I have 46 invites not responded to, which totals 69 people. And some of those are LIW brides  !

I know how you feel!! Ours was yesterday too and we're missing 20 responses! We're waiting until the weekend for people who waited until yesterday to mail there's before we start calling and e-mailing.

I know how you feel. Yesterday was my RSVP and I still have 45 RSVP's that I didn't get. I have a lot of calling to do today.

Lori, I am sorry. What I've learned from wedding planning is that some people can be so rude.....I know it's gonna happen to me too.....I will make the Mom's call everyone, since it's basiclly all their friends!!lol

the funniest part of my RSVP story is that my date is saturday, and i have about 10-15 left who didnt respond (plus dates)...and about 10 of them are FH'S close friends..out of those 10, 6 are in our bridal party LMAO...they dont feel like i really need the card..i should assume, yes theyr e coming, and yes theyre bringin a date, or no theyre not..i have no clue..i made FH call them!!
