I want real rose petals in petal cones--how did you guys do that??

I want real rose petals in petal cones--how did you guys do that??
I want to have real rose petals in my petal cones, but dont want to be stuffing them on the day of my wedding so I cant really get them from my florist. What else can I do and still use real petals? Any suggestions? I dont want them to get wilted.

we went to Sams,Costco,BJs and bought roses there and the night b4 my sisters wedding we filled the cones and left them in the fridge.....it worked just fine!

that's what i did. i had a family friend go to the Church early and make sure all the baskets were there (programs, almonds, petal cones) and she was kind enough to fill all the petal cones. she said it was a pain in the azz but she's so sweet that she sat there and filled each and every one!
