Bridesmaid dress or my dress
Which dress do I shop for first mine of my bm? I think I want a yellow color for the bm dresses, I am not sure.....
Also, I am planning  on loosing about 10 pounds or so before my wedding, how will my dress fit? (Do I even make sense  )

I think that your dress is most important to find first. u dont want to have BM dresses that are "dressier" or have more beading than ur dress. u also may want to consider fabrics as well. my dress is silk satin so i chose a BM dress that is satin as well. but you should have unlimited possibilities when you go shoppping, not be limited bc you already chose a BM dress. HTH and is not confusing.

I'd shop for your dress first. Bridal gowns sometimes take longer to come in than bridesmaids gowns do.

You should probably get your dress first. Bridal gowns take a lot more time to come in than BM dresses do. Plus your dress will set the tone for what you want your BMs to wear. Don't worry about the size of your dress...that's what alterations are for.

You should order your gown first, it takes longer to come in then BM dresses usually.

I would get your dress first - It usually takes longer and its the most important - Let your dress set the tone for everything else.

We actually picked out the BM dresses first by narrowing it down to 3 Bill Levkoff dresses we found on line. They actually agreed on their favorite dress.
At that point I went dress shopping and took FSIL. She tried on the dress the girls decided on, it looked great. We actually ended up ordering mine and their dresses the same night.

I would order your dress first... like others said, it takes longer to come in and its more important!! Also you want your gown to stand out and not be faded by bridesmaid dresses depending on the style you choose.
