Anyone not send a pic with their TYs?

So, I'm all sone with the TYs and kind of just want to throw them in the mail right now. Some of our pictures are online, but we haven't gotten all of our proofs yet and I'm not sure it's worth the wait.

Is it weird if I send just the note?

We didn't send pics. I didn't see the need to. Our pictures are online and everyone has already seen them. We sent pictures to my grandmothers and are getting prints for our immediate family so they can have some pictures, but honestly I just can't imagine anyone caring.

We're not sending pics in our TYs. Honestly, I never heard of that until I started reading LIW. None of my friends or fam have sent them with their TYs either!

Well, you know that I'm a Boston girl at heart, and in Boston they don't do picture thank yous. DH was totally fine with just sending a note because he wanted our thank yous out asap. So we just got thank you notes that matched our invitations.

Nobody in my family ever did photo thank yous. I just cant imagine that anyone would really want a picture of us up on their fridge. Its like:"Gee I'd love a sandwich...and there is Leslie and Ed COOL!"

They just arent my thing so we didnt do them. We did however, do informal note cards that matched our invitations. I much preferred those.

We are not sending pics...we'd be waiting too long and our guests would start to call....yes, they really would. At the holidays, maybe we'll include one to close family.

We did send pictures, but I debated about it because I'm sure lots of people do just throw them away. I have received ones with no picture and it's fine. I don't think it's a big deal. I was going to only send the pictures to close friends and family, but I had enough so I sent them to everyone.

we did because a lot of our extended family expects them. I think its a nice keepsake and worth the wait!

i dont think you need to at all. you should definitely do what you want to do! we are waiting for our thank you's (we just picked out our pics for them, shouldnt be too long to get them from now and we havent even reached our one month mark yet). i dont expect people (outside my family, bc i know they do) to put them up on their fridge, but i do think we will make pretty thank you's. ours are more of a digital motage (4 pics) and will be a reminder of that day.

we didn't. Most times when I get a picture thank you, I don't keep it. Sorry to say, if it's not someone really close to me, I would have no place to keep an erroneous picture.
