teachers - looking for some good books on....
Friendship and self-esteem - mostly for a 1st to 2nd grade level for read aloud for my social skills groups with kids 7-10 years old with high functioning autism - any suggestions?
I have a few I love, but need to find a few more...

Check out anything by Kevin Henkes... this guy hits the nail on the head with how little kids feel and situations they get themselves into.

Excellent - I'm going to the library in a few minutes, so I'll definitely check out some of his books if they have them!!!

I Wish I Were a Butterfly. cant remember the author, but its great. we start each school year with that book. its short/picture.
