Does anyone know a catering hall.....
That can hold around 400 people, but only does 1 wedding at a time. BF just got engaged and is looking.

Leonards of Great Neck. I am not sure but I think if they have to open the rooms for a big wedding that size then they might be the only wedding?

I am pretty sure Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park holds that many. It is only one wedding at a time and its beautiful!! You should check it out!

I just used the LIW reception guide and found this:
beautiful atrium, up to 500 and one event
bridgeview yacht club, up to 400 and one event
carlyle on the green, up to 400 and one event
Milleridge Cottage, up to 500 and one event
Nautical Cruise Lines, up to 400 and one event
Patchogue Manor, up to 1000 and one event
Sands Atlantic Beach, up to 600 and one event
Stuart Thomas Manor, up to 400 and one event
The Historical Thatched Cottage, up to 600 and one event
LIW reception guide (has search feature..I used 400 people and 1 Max. Event for the above results)

*I'm not sure what Flowerfield can hold but they are really big-- check them out, only one wedding
Those are the only ones I can think of: I saw Port Jeff CC as a suggestion, unless that is another place and I'm thinking of the wrong one-- I believe they can only hold like 180 MAX (meaning Lombardi's on the Sound) unless it's another place... good luck, HTH

Yeah, Eastwind has 3 completely separate buildings, parking lots, 3 separate kitchens, etc.... No wedding is in the same building

It's one party at a time, and their rooms are HUGE. I don't know exactly what their capacity is for a wedding, but I know my dad has been at other non-wedding events there that were at least 400 people.

Definitely check the Hyatt Windwatch and Carlyle. There are a few places that can hold around 350 out there as well if she actually has less than 400.

definately call Floral Terrace, or Sand of Atlantic Beach. Sand of atlantic beach, almost seems undiscovered, and its beautiful, you have the whole private beach in the back to yourself to take pictures more or less. Both do one wedding at a time, and my family has dealt with both hall's and they have good service/value.

I don't know if Lombardi's on the Sound (PJCC) can hold 400, but they defineatly hold more than 180. Their minimum for a Saturday night is 175
I think since Lombardi's took it over the rooms are bigger. I remember when it was just the PJCC, the rooms were different.
And, you can't go wrong with Giorgio's. I had my wedding there in February, they are AMAZING!
