Any brides NOT write out thank you's? UPDATE
UPDATE: How about if personalize all the thank you's, but have it printed on the computer? Our handwriting is simply terrible!

i dont think i have ever gotten a generic thank you... there was always some sort of personal note written as well...

I think your guests deserve a hand written thank you note. If I had two broken hands I would still find a way to write out the notes. Not going to use the T word but I think it is super important to write them out. JMO

i agree...i think you def should write a note in your own hand writting. May be alot of work but do a 10-20 a day....and you will see they will get done fast!!

I got one from sister in law. Actually I didn't even get my own thank you card from her, she put my name on the card she send to her parents, grandparents and hubby. Oh well.

i think you should still write them out, guests might not realize that they are personalized if they are typed... i would rather get a handwritten thank you... bad handwriting and all!
DH has AWFUL hand writing, but whenever he would send me a letter when we were a part in college, it mad my heart melt... it just wasnt the same getting the same message through email...

I like receiving handwritten thank yous. Even if it's just a couple of line. He makes me feel "special". That they took the time!

Even the chicken scratch thank you's are a great way to say thank you. I say write em. (I know you don't wanna hear that)

I'm taking my sweet tiome with it but I am handwriting ours.
Yes, it's a pain in the butt and I have bad arthritis in both hands as it is, but better that then just printing something off.
Even if you only write "thanks for sharing our day" it's better to be handwritten!

I recently got a thank you for a bridal shower. the bride typed a poem and glued it onto a postcard. Well the poem came off in the mail, so most guests that spent a lot of money on gifts and gave of their time at the shower got a totally blank postcard!!! In my opinion, it was horrible. A handwritten note is always appreciated-bad handwriting and all, a personal note is always nice.

I would write them out! It's better that way. Nobody cares that you have stinky handwriting. They just want a personal note.
