Anyone else concerned that tapered jeans are coming back in style?
This frightens me!! Boot cut jeans are flattering on everyone!! Tapered leg jeans are flattered on people 100lbs and below.
I would look like a tool in tapered leg jeans.. in fact when I look at high school pictures thats exactly what I think... WHAT WERE WE THINKING?!?

I agree!
I wore them in high school but only because I didn't know any better and had no style (and sometimes I would even get fun of for them!)
I don't understand the "skinny jeans" thing...
And I agree they only fit on a certain type of body.
I am a size 4-6 and still they wouldn't flatter me because I have thighs (aka: not just bones!)

I think they are horrible.
And coming from a person who has birthing thighs and I've never given birth...trust me...they do not do my body good.
Sometimes I am a follower when it comes to fashion...but this is just one of those things that AINT HAPPENIN!!!!!!!!!!!

No WAY!!! They can be the old, new hot thing but you still will not get my azz in a pair of them. I barely wore them when I was younger bc they make my legs look like little sausage links!

actually i have been getting these e-mails from the gap and when I first saw them I was like NOOOOOOOOO WAY ~ I love the BOOT CUT...I am thick on the bottom and I feel like it evens me out...

I think tapered jeans look horrible on everyone, no matter how skinny. Its a terrible look and I have no idea why it would make a comeback.
I am also a bit frightened by the leggings with the lace on the bottom that I used to wear in the 80's!

I agree! I nearly  when I saw the whole leggings under the skirt thing. What is up with that?
Why can't we all just leave the 80's where they belong! I was looking through pics from middle school and high school and wondering what the heck was I THINKING????? Hair is NOT SUPPOSED to be in that position!

I am so scared that there will be NOTHING but them come next season.. I am a curvy girl and they look HORRIBLE on me... like painted on pants (even two sizes bigger then needed!)... ugggg
Im stocking up on straight leg jeans just in case!

I can't stand them! I wore them, but I hate the way it makes people look. Forget the thigh area. Your feet while they might be a cute size 6 looks like my huge size 9 with the ankel wrapped up snuggly!
What are people thinking?!?!?
