some of my family will be heading to OC MD this summer w/kids-----any recos. on where they should stay????

me and FH went there 2-3 years ago, we rented a condo on the boardwalk on about 18th st...it was soooo nice....if they want to be close to the boardwalk stuff, i think renting a condo on the boardwalk or going to one of the major hotels on the boardwalk is great...i say from like 12th st up is good, you dont want to be too close to the busy busy stuff....the beach is great, very clean...boardwalks fun, lots of good burger/food places, ripleys believe it or not is there which is ok, kids might like it...

check out Asateague Island (spelling??) it is an island where horses run free and wild... it is so cool... people go camping there, but you can drive through too...
