do any tuxedo places have a large stock in-store to try on?

Hi--
Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with the process, but FH and I went looking for tuxedos and the place said we could pick out two tuxedo combinations and they would order them in for the next week for him to try on.

It just seemed really limited to only be able to try on two choices, since we're undecided about both style and color (of the vests/ties). I'm glad they don't do bridal gowns this way!

Anyhow, is this par for the course?
or are there places where you can try on a lot of color combos, or at least order more than 2 choices?

Thanks!

Men's Warehouse has tuxs. I'm sure they would have his size.

We're using Tuxedo Park in Carle Place. I think their supply is mostly on premise so it seemed like they had everything available to try on.

Men's wearhouse will not let you try on tuxes - they just size you and you pick from a catalog - at least this was the case at the Smithaven Mall location.

We're going to Black Tie Tuxedos in Smithtown on Rte 111. They allow you to go in and get fitted and they show you everything and you can try it on and see what you like and don't like. They are also so nice!!!!!!!!!!! I had my Dad taken care of already and they were in the middle of prom sales, but they didn't care and treated us as importantly.

We went to Rogers Tuxedo in Smithtown. FH tried on 5-6 different tuxes before choosing what he liked.

We used Bell Tuxedos on Bell Boulevard - they have all their stock in the store, so you can try on anything you like. All of our tuxes were great - no problems at all, perfectly sized.

thats where we are are getting ours from. they were great for fh and my brother (i went with both). but its funny how you say your dad got treated important during the busy prom time, bc when my bil went with my moh, they said they were treated pretty bad, that they were rude, and they thought maybe it was bc they went the day after prom. they didnt even give him a vest to try on. the salesperson kept walking away to help other people.

I guess sometimes it's the luck of the draw with the salespeople!!
