Need a song for a special dance
My dad passed away over two years ago. I have a stepfather who i am very close with. However, i do not want him to 'replace' my dad on my day.
after fh dances with fmil, i was thinking of having him dance with me in memory of my dad...my dad knew fh as i feel this is more appropriate.
my father loved fleetwood mac, elton, billy joel...and all the other 70's rock. there is a song my fleetwood called daddy...but it is too depressing... i was looking for something more special and not sad.
any thoughts?

if he was a billy joel fan, how about, these are the times to remember? it kind of ties the past, the present and the future together. I love the idea of you having a special dance with you fh dedicated to your dad - it's really sweet and I'm sure your dad would feel truly honored.

I think I remember reading somehwere that somebody used the Elton John song Blessed for a dance. I also like these are the times by Billy Joel. Did your fathe rlike Paul McCartney...maybe you can dance to Maybe I'm amazed
