Bridesmaid dress color pink or blue

I'm having a hard time deciding between light pink and light blue dresses for the bridesmaids. At first I was set on having a light blue theme, but when I started flower shopoing I realized that I prefer the look of pink flowers and I changed my color to pink. Yesterday I saw pink bridesmaid dreeses with pink flowers and I didn't like the way it looked. Should I stick with the pink dresses and have the girls carry white flowers while I carry pink flowers or should I go back to the original color I wanted (light blue) and have the girls carry pink flowers with their light blue dresses while I carry a white bo-k? Do you think that light blue dresses will look nice with pink flowers?

just a thought....but if you like the blue dresses and are worried that the pink flowers would look funny....what about the blue dresses and pink flowers with some blue too?

or have you all pink, the MOH all blue flowers, and the MB both?

The main reason for me picking pink as my theme was because I loved how the dresses in pink looked with the darker pink flowers. However, this is just a personal decision I think you should make. Its all a matter of preference to be honest. I like the pink on pink.

What do YOU feel more comfortable with? go with your gut- is there one thing you like more than the other?

For the sake of voting though, I say Pink dresses with white flowers.

In addition, if you are carrying the color scheme throughout the whole wedding- think about other things that you may incorporate such as favors, centerpieces, etc.... hopefully that can help you choose a color easier! Good luck and let us know what you end up with!!!!

I wanted to do pink with some blue flowers but I haven't been able to find blue flowers besides hydrangea and they're too big for my bridesmaids bo-ks because they will have peony in them which is a big flower.

I am not that knowledgeable about flowers, so maybe talking with a florist will help. But what about little tiny ones like these to mix into the pink

LOL....I am glad to offer an idea...maybe they can find more. Maybe even dye a flower? Like turn a stephanoid blue?

I'm doing....aqua/lighter blue dresses with BRIGHT pink flowers.

It also depends on the dresses.
