DiRosa hair salon in Franklin Square has a girl there that is absolutely the best! She does threading and waxing. Sometimes there are 10 people on the list ahead of you but she is definitely worth the wait. The phone # is 488-8038. I can never remember her name- I'm really bad with that.

It costs $5 and they do a great job! There are always at least 3 woman on staff at a time to do threading...I think i have only waited once and it wasnt more than a 5 minute wait.

go to Sana Beauty salon in Hicksville on 107 just south of Old country road. $5 They have a card. After 5 or 6, you get one free.

There is a lady named Mira who works out of a hair product shop in Roosevelt Filed Mall (the shop right across from HSBC). She's good.

This is the BEST place I have ever gotten a bikini "wax" Actually they do a method called sugaring and it is SO much gentler.
If you have ever wanted to try a Brazilian this is the way to do it! I have the most sensative skin - wax's just kill me and any nair type product burns my skin. Sugaring is much less painful and the redness is gone in 3 hours. It's just amazing.
