Brides using Apple red bridesmaid dresses - what flowers are you doing?

I need advice - I've been going to florists and trying to get ideas, but I'm not sure i'm happy with what I'm getting.
My bridesmaid dresses are David's Bridal Apple Red - has anyone used this color and if so - what flower scheme did you go with? I'm trying to stay away from Red, White and Blue and I don't like Yellow on the red....anyone have better ideas?

My dresses are claret and I had this same problem until I saw some wedidng photos that brides posted from this past winter.

I'm going to select a shade of white roses for each of my 2 bridesmaids. My Matron will carry a bo-q of red and white roses and my bridal bo-q will be all red roses mixed with a little babies breath. I can't wait to see how my pictures will look!!!!

Actually, a friend of mine is doing that color scheme - her dress is from David's Bridal (it's the one with the long colored bow in the back [red]) and her bridesmaid dresses are apple too. Her floral arrangements are going to be red and white roses. She doesn't really have any centerpieces made up yet, but from what she tells me, it's going to be 6 red and 6 white roses in a large vase with a beta fish in the bottom! I hope she isn't mad at me for spilling her big secret, but she's getting married in New Jersey. But keep quiet just in case!

you could also try a solid color bouquet in different kinds of flowers. red roses, lilies, tulips, etc. Pink is nice too.

My dresses are wine, but they are close to Apple Red. I am using oranges, terracotta, and yellow roses with green hydrangea. I am having a fall theme

My girls are also wearing the apple color from David's Bridal, and they will be carrying red and orange roses with hydrangea mixed in as well.

I'm using apple red from david's too and i'm doing this bo-k but with red and pink roses with mini calla lillies...

I will post pics later, but my FSIL's girls had David's Bridal Apple red dresses. The girls carried all rose Bo-ks, with red and pinks. Looked great!

My BM dresses are red - from Bari Jay - they are carrying ivory roses.

My girls wore deep red dresses and we used black magic roses and white.

Im doing Apple. Im going to have red roses for my bok... red and white for the MOH and white for the BMs

heres an out of the box suggestion. since you are marrying during tulip season you could go with parrot tulips since they will be in season at this pount, and they will pick up the apple but it wouldnt be the focal point (see image).

Pale pink is great against apple red. That was my original color scheme.

I am doing red dresses with white tulips for the girls and mine will be white and deep red calla lillies.
I know that isn't what you want though, sorry I can't help!

To clarify - I'm looking into Red and White with roses some other types for myself (mini orchids, fresia and/or mini calas). My girls I'm currently looking at red roses and white daisies.
I meant I was trying to stay away from red/white/blue - patriotic thing.

I was trying to stay away from pink, but now that I see some of them..I don't know. I just want someone to show me something and be like "I think you should do this." It would make my life so much easier!

So far I've met with Flower Barn, Flower Michele, James Cress, Malkmes & With All My Heart. I have no idea what I want. I've liked what *most* of them have had to say, but haven't so much liked all their prices.

What does anyone think a good budget for flowers (with and without centerpieces) is?


(For 1 MOH, 5 BMs, 2 Flowergirls, 1 BM, 5 Ushers 1 Ring bearer.....extras include 2 mothers, 2 fathers, 2 gmas....possibly a couple of readers? In terms of centerpieces it would be a minimum of 15 tables)
