Mini Wine Bottle favor question...

If I am going to do this - is it per couple or per person?

Re: Mini Wine Bottle favor question...

I am doing Mini wine bottles also, I am up in the air about weither it should be 1 or 2 to a couple. Lots of people are telling me just one to a couple. I am not sure what I wanna do yet so I am pricing both ways...because with all the bottles and the labels it can become very expensive.

Re: Mini Wine Bottle favor question...

I personally believe if you're giving out Mini's - they should be one per person. If you're giving out FULL bottles - they should be one per couple.

That is what I was thinking...
And if I do that... do you think I could make a tag that would double as their place card?

And how would I do that?

That's a great idea! If you do one per couple or one per person you can use the tag on it as a placecard.

Something that says on the front:
Mr. Joe Smith
Table 2

and on the back:
Thank You for Sharing in Our Speical Day
The Newlyweds, etc....

You can easily do it w/cardstock in MS Word:

Re: Mini Wine Bottle favor question...

I think one per couple would be fine. Wine is such a great idea as a favor.

Re: Mini Wine Bottle favor question...

We are doing the Sutter Home mini wine bottles. We got them for $1.25 per bottle and the labels were free. We are giving one bottle per person.

Re: Mini Wine Bottle favor question...

We were a guest at a wedding in March and the bride and groom did full size wine bottles and it was one per person. I thought it was a bit much since they took up soooooooo much room on the table. It is always nice to get 2 bottles of wine but maybe give them out at the end of the evening instead of putting them on the tables from the start. HTH
