Honestly how many friends (real friends) do you have? Can you count them on one hand?
It just seems to me as we get older the less friends we have. Do any of you have no girlfriends - I mean zilch.. zero?

zero is pretty much the same for me!! i have one BEST guy friend in the world who would do anything for me and i can trust him with EVERYTHING. I live and die for him and he is the same with me... but that's about it.
I have a girlfriend of mine Jess who I'm close with but we don't really see each other so often b/c we both have crazy schedules so I wouldn't consider her to be on the BEST friend level...just a good one
Other than that I just have FH and family

Im the same,,,
I have 3 friends who will take things to the grave with them,, 2 of them are from hs,
Other than that , FH & MY mom,,,, Like it that way , less drama & cadiness

Sorry I put this on the BHB boards, but I figure I would get more responses here.
I just wanted to see what everyone's responses would be.
I understand we all get involved in our own lives but it does get lonely... when you don't have any girlfriends to bond with and do girl things with.
How about the FH.. does he have a lot of friends? It always helps when FH has friends that are married or in relationships so then his friends become yours and then you can go out with other couples and do things every now and then..

real friends that i see and hang out with? honestly, none. i have one in NC...but i never really see her...i also have 2 here...but i never see them...this job doesn't help...it's a small office of 5 people, all chinese, all men (except one....and she's my mom's age). 
luckilly, i have the bridentologists.

I have two really good girlfriends and family, I am close with my mom. FH has one pretty good friend but mostly we just have each other and family.

I've always felt that when you get older you lose friends also. I have really have one friend since I was three years old. MY MOH, sometimes I feel sad for only having one friend. Sometimes I want to go out she can't that's it and I'm home unless I go with my FH. I hope to make some good friends when FH and I move upstate. I'm just so leery of new people sometimes. FH has so many friends.

luckilly, i have the bridentologists.
If I include my new found Bridentologists I have bunches...If I take them out I have my mom and FH and unfortunately there are some things you can't talk to your mom about because of the ewwww factor and there are some things you can't talk to your FH about because of the you can't *itch about 'em to 'em factor. :sigh: But there are always the ghosts in my house and the voices in my head to talk to.......

Hey if you can't trust the voices in your head to listen then dang who can ya trust???? Of course the voices in my head sometimes call me by the wrong name...I hear them often refer to me as Witch....wonder why that is?????
