MY WEDDING IS IN 16 DAYS AND MY MOTHER'S DRESS STILL ISN'T IN......
My mom went looking all over the place looking for a dress. She ordered her dress in DECEMBER and her dress still isn't in. My grandmother and FH's mother also ordered their dresses their, way after my mother, and they already had their fittings. My mother is freaking out. According to the store, the dress is in customs at JFK b/c they are made overseas. The dresses usually remain in customs for 3-4 weeks, but they cannot tell my mom when it got there b/c they don't know. So fo all my mother knows, her dress won't get there until after the wedding. She told them if it is not in by Wednesday, she will be looking for another dress and wants a refund.
Can you believe this??????

OMG! I am sooo sorry that this is happening!
I am at a loss of words over here! 
I reallly hope that the dress comes in TOM - and will make things easier for you and your mom!

that happened to my mother for my sister's wedding. the dress came in the day before my sister's wedding.

Omg, that's horrible!!!!! I would get on the phone and talk to whoever you have to talk to at the JFK Customs and get your mom's dress in!!!!!!

Aww try not to freak. The same thing happened with my sister's dress (the whole customs thing) and it came in about 4 days before my wedding. And it did not sit for 3/4 weeks (my sister ordered her dress REALLY late). If it's already in customs then it shouldn't be too much longer and the place that ordered the dress should find out when it was shipped and then figure out an estimate as to how long it's been sitting in customs. omg!!! yea i agree......if they cant give you answers now than id demand for my $$$$ back!!!! Even if she finds a dress today...it can take a week or so to get alts done on it! Def go look!
