Repost-Chocolate Browm BM's dress-Shoe color??

Hi ladies-
For those of you that had your BM's wear chocolate brown or brown BM's dresses what color were the shoes?
I was thinking of getting the shoes dyed to match the dresses.
Any ideas?

TIA!!!

Re: Repost-Chocolate Browm BM's dress-Shoe color??

My BMs worke chocolate brown dresses. I believe they also had choc. brown shoes. I didn't make them all get matching dyed shoes though. They found shoes on their own that happend to match the dress. One of my MOH's had brown shoes with sparkles on them, they were lovely. They originally thought they might wear gold shoes but couldn't find any "nice" gold shoes to wear.

Thanks so much!
Where did they find brown shoes?
I was thinking of just having them look on their own for brown shoes since its easier that way and my only request is closed toe or peek a boo toe
did your girls wear closed toe?

Does this mean the guys ties have to match the girls dresses? Brown BM dresses and brown ties for the groomsmen?? How does that work

Re: Repost-Chocolate Browm BM's dress-Shoe color??

My colors are chocolate brown & gold, but I have other fall colors mixed n the flowers, too. My BMs are all actually wearing leopard print shoes, but if they didn't pick that I would have asked them wear gold shoes. The guys are wearing tan suits. I think it looks much classier than tuxedos, but I know I am fairly alone in that opinion...

My one MOH lives in Boston so she got her shoes there. My 3 sisters got their shoes on the Island, not sure where. My one sister wore closed toe shoes and everyone else wore open toed shoes. My sister (my other MOH) found brown/gold slippers that she changed into for the reception. I may have a picture at home.

As far as the GM's ties, all my GM's wore regular standard tuxes, no vests and they wore black bow ties, there are pics in my review and album.

Here are some that I've been collecting. I think I am just going to have traditional black everything and then add a fun bout.

Mine dyed their shoes to match and they came out beautiful..

ETA
make sure they get satin shoes instead of crepe, they will be more shiny, if that's what you want....

Re: Repost-Chocolate Browm BM's dress-Shoe color??

The issue with my dress was that they are chocolate chiffon but there was a tiny rhinestone buckle. I initially hated the thought of dyables, but I also did not want everyone to wear the same shoe (I was forced to do this once, and I threw out the shoes afterwards because they were painful)

Anyway most of the bridesmaids preferred to get dyables. I would've preferred a metallic gold or bronze shoe, but that rhinestone buckle threw everything off. Anyway the shoes are the least of my concern. I want them to be happy and comfortable. I doubt that I will see more than one pic with their shoes, so I am not that pushy about the shoe issue.
