I hate to say it. I live in NHP and many of the homes are not selling. There is one across the street from me that has been in the market since before we got married! It approaching a year!

Our house has only been on the market for less than 2 months - we will sell it - We have plenty of interest in the house and we have a few offers on the table

mls shows that the average time a house is on the market in NHP is about 60 days. you should sell soon if priced right.

I have to agree if the homes are priced right, they will sell quickly. The house across the street from is overpriced.
Good luck selling the home. I would love to buy a home in NHP but the taxes make it difficult.

The house is a great house, but unfortunately it is not in Great Necks school district. A lot of the people that are buying in this area want Great Neck Schools. The offers we got were good but not what the family is looking for. We lowered the price to bring in more people to the open house.
If you have some free time on sunday, come on down to 57 Lawrence Street off of New Hyde Park Road in New Hyde Park. We will be there from 2pm to 4pm. If you are looking in the area, this may be the house for you.
The inside of the house is very large. The outside is very deceiving. It is a 3 bedroom house but there is a room over the garage that is now a storage space which could be converted into a 4th bedroom......
As far as the taxes go, they are not that bad for Long Island. If you apply for star and greive the taxes, you can save a good amount each year.

Open house was alright - Would of been better if it didnt rain. We had some interest, and we have some other people coming to see the house this week and on sunday too.
Hopefully soon - we can write Sold on the front of the house.

3 full months- he bought another one all ready ( in florida)
he has hardly had anyone look at it- it dropped the price last week to $587

Coach Realty in setuaket- it's actually his old company- he sold it to my friends uncle back right when the market crashed in the late 80s
so it's not like he isn't getting the proper attention

Ok i have heard of coach - The market is not doing so well right now - A lot of houses are sitting and prices are going down. It is no longer a sellers market - it is turning into a buyers market.

too far out east
too many memories- I can barely go in there anymore 
edited- he offered- at a very low price- but I would rather see him sell it- no one will want to visit us there- no one in my family wants to be in the house ( it was the only house we ever lived in)

I got you. Same with my parents house in Lynbrook. They sold it in 04. It needed a lot of work, and the taxes were almost $10k. We had great memories there, but now that my mom is gone I could never see myself living there or going there again
