NWR: How does Paypal work?
I just hooked my bank account into Paypal.
If I need to sell something, and someone wants to pay using Paypal, can that money be directed to my bank account now so that I can withdraw that money as cash? Or does it have to go to a charge card? I've PAID others with PayPal, but I've never received payments.

When the person wins the auction, they can pay with Paypal. The money will then be in your paypal account. You can go on to Paypal.com and transfer the money to the bank account linked to your account. It takes a few days to be transferred into the account, but then you can withdraw it as cash. HTH

great! Thank you! And that goes even if it's not ebay, right? It's actually something off Craigslist.com, which we wanted cash for - but the guy wants to pay via PayPal. That's doable, right?

paypal is a great thing since its more secure and fast. i'd use it for craig's list rather than trying to send checks or money orders in the mail. if u have paypal direct deposit money into your bank account there's no charge! any ebay auction fees can be paid thru pay pal also.

if they pay right out of their checking account, you will get the money right away.
I have had people pay me through paypal, it works great.
I think you have to set something up though so people can pay you - I know this definitely if you want to accept credit card payments.

Yes there is a link on Paypal where someone can pay you without it being an Ebay item. Phyllis at Gownfind actually uses this for girls to pay for their dresses so it can he used for anything.
