Summer Weekend Activites
I'm trying to start a running list that DH and I can look at when we are out of ideas of things to do together one day out of every weekend this summer. Here is my list so far, if you have ideas, please feel free to add on:
1. Yankees Game 2. Cirque du Soleil 3. Great Adventure 4. Cocktail/BBQ Party 5. Visit the intrepid, MOMA or Museum of Natural History. 6. Walking tour 7. Broadway or off Broadway Play....
Any more ideas????

claudios in greenport is fun
fire island (take ferry over, hit the beach then go to lunch)

Go on a hike/walk - I love Caumsett State Park in Huntington Day trip to Mystic, CT - visit Mystic Aquarium, submarine base, historic Mystic seaport village Rent a canoe or kayak and go out on one of the rivers or canals on the east end Fishing

What about a trip to Montaukor the Hamptons? Fun, financially reasonable and very scenic! I recco Montauk first. Hamptons tend to be "stuffier"

skydiving riverhead aquarium beach hiking - greenbelt trail? kayak or canoe walking on boardwalks Neptunes or Baordy Barn montauk - beach or surfing I don't know where you live, but sometimes when we are bored in the summer we go to Northport Harbor or Port Jeff and walk around.
