NWR Chopper crash on Kings Park High School soccer field
I live 1 block from it- there are emergency vehicles/helicopters everywhere...
it happened about an hour ago - everyone is OK, no students/staff were out there, and the 2 chopper passengers were taken to the local hosp. w/ minor injuries
Scary though - my little bro saw the whole thing from his classroom window. Joey called right away to let us know that he was OK. They evacuated the wing closest to the crash (fear of gas explosion), but everything is somewhat back to normal in the school.
Thank God things turned out the way they did - things could've been VERY different
