NWR: Video cameras...
Since the boards all helped with the search of our new digital camera thought I'd start here again...we want to get a video camera for our anniversary trip to Costa Rica....any recommendations? Pros and cons of the one you own? TIA!!!

I'd be interested to know this, too. Also, what are relatively good ones going for now? I see them priced anywhere from 200 bucks to 1000. Digital the way to go? Tape? (that sounds soooo 1983!) lol.

I can throw in my 2 cents, we have a sony dvd camcorder, its the best to be able to record right on mini dvds they look really small but fit every size dvd player. Sony makes a great video camera, i think we payed 700 10 months ago. There are a million models out that record on dvd, try to get the most affordable one.

I LOVE IT
Easy to use...but they make other cams now that are so small
