Went to the Lombardi's on the Sound Bridal Showcase last night!
For all you brides getting married there...
the VIEW is, of course, spectacular!
the FOOD is dangerously good... soooo yummy! My favs: Eggplant Rollatini and Beef and Broccoli!
the SERVICE was GREAT! The people there were SOOOOO nice and attentive to all our needs! Never had an empty plate on the table for more than 10 seconds, it seems, without someone coming to whisk it away!
We had such a nice time! LOVE that showcase!

OH Sarah-0 I wanted to come but was working on my moms house getting ready to move until almost 7. Maybe next time. By the way, where is your "dream place"?

I was there!!! SOOOOOOO good. I am sooo happy with it now. I love the view, we sat outside the whole night and just ate! and that was only the appetizers!

My "dream place" is The Crescent Beach Club. I LOVE it... anything with that water view with the cruise ship feeling, I love. (Ironically, I hate actual cruises. lol).

The cocktail hour was set up like a wedding, I guess. There were tables outside... such a beautiful evening! The food was phenomenal! They even had a chocolate fountain (although it was the small one... we were surprised they didn't have the next size up. And when I asked the girl to dip the Oreo for me, she questioned my decision. lol. YES... I WANT YOU TO DIP THE OREO IN THE MELTED CHOCOLATE. Isn't that what it was for? lol. For God's sake, people were asking them to poor chocolate over their fresh popped popcorn... why is the Oreo so unheard of?  ). My mom was IN LOVE with the cold appetizers they had... I LOVED the hot ones. The sushi was okay, but the station wasn't manned and the sushi options weren't labeled. I had no idea what I was eating. I like knowing the sushi I'm about to eat. Those are SUCH small details... hardly can be called "negatives"... except for the Oreo situation...
Okay... I'm past the Oreo. The inside was set up with all chairs on the dance floor. I wish they left some dancing room, because the band was a LOT of fun! They sounded GREAT! Especially the black singer and the red head. AWESOME. And they had everyone laughing when the black guy asked where his "fellow paisons" were and started singing "Lazy Mary". Everyone was so into it. Hint: Italian music REALLY lifts everyone's spirits! It was so funny and a lot of fun!
The vendors there were great... two of my vendors were there: T and T Video and Patken.

Oh My God, so beautiful there!!!! I just didn't have enough people attending, we're like 80. 
But the Old Field Club is beautiful as well and it too is on the water!

I have NEVER been to the Old Field Club. It's near Port Jeff, right? They had a bridal show last year there, but I couldn't make it. I would love to see it one day. Don't you love "on the water" places? It really sets the mood...
