Who are you using for hair?
Do they travel?
Do you have pics of their work...trial or "the big day"?

I used Maureen Pedala for makeup and her sister Claudia for hair. They're located in NYC but will travel. They're a little on the pricey side, but really worth it I think. Here's Maureen's site, which has before and after pics: www.nyweddingmakeup.com

I had been going to Bruce for 4 years when I got engaged. He was one of the first people I asked to be a part of the wedding. He came to Jersey City on the day of the wedding and did 7 people’s hair. He did an awesome job which was not an easy task since we had such a variety of hair types. Between hair appointments he took pictures (which he sent to us) and generally helped out. When he put my veil in for the pictures, he also spent about 5 minuets fixing my dress so it would be picture perfect. Overall he was a delightful person to work with.

Make-up

Raychel Wade (NY-will travel) (A-)

Raychel is a very talented and fast make-up artist. (At the time I booked her she was not doing airbrush, but I am not a fan so it wasn’t a problem.) She did 7 women, including myself in about 2.5 hours. You can also book her for touch ups. I did pay her to stay, but it was pretty clear that she was too tired to be there (she had been in a wedding as a bridesmaid the night before) and she ended up leaving a bit early. She is expensive and you will need to arrange her transportation if your wedding is not in Manhattan.
