teachers -- chart paper??

really dumb question probably... but, where is the cheapest place on LI to buy chart paper? and how much does a pad usually cost? I live n NYC and everyting's sky high here, and I've always had the paper through my school, so I really have no idea....

and i have this demo next week and need to get some friday!!

Michaels? ACMoore? an education store?

Try Staples or Office Depot... they have the large pads.. Also LL Weans (there is one in Farmingdale) or Creative Child in RVC (a little pricey though). I also loved this education store in Brooklyn near my old school. It was off of Court St. in downtown Brooklyn. I could find out the exact address for you... if it would be close to where you are.

Also Staples has a teacher rewards program.... every $100.00 you spend you get $10.00 gift certificate. Also, Staples brand products are double points!

just an update ---

tried Staples, Office Max, Michaels, AC Moore and Pearls yesterday and none of them had a sprial bound flip chart with lined paper --- soooooooo weird and frustrating... I just bought a sketch pad and am going to put my own lines on it cause I got fed up (esp. cause Staples sells it on their website, just not in store)...

It maybe easier to just print the paper and go to any of the stores listed and have them bind it spiral.

thanks -- if it were 8.5 x 11, i'd definitely print my own, but I'm talking about the big chart paper that you use in front of the class.... the one that is like 24 inches x 36 or 40 inches...

i just bought a regular pad and put lines on it myself

lakeshore on hillside ave. in nhp is awesome. they have different lines, different sizes and colors and in all honesty, the prices aren't too bad. i think chart paper is roughly $7.
