NWR: Personal Training Certification

I want to become certified this summer as a personal trainer and maybe a spin instructor.
Anyone know how I go about doing this? I live in Nassau County.

There are several of them.

ACE is one of them. Honestly, the requirement level (difficulty) varies a lot from one place to another. You can even do it online. You need your CPR/First aid also to work with people and you need "insurance' (usually comes with or available with membership of the organization you have the certification with). The certification is not well "standartized" in the industry unless you come from College with a major in Sports Industry.

Just a note: you cannot teach class aerobic with the personal training certification. It's a different one.
