I got both my grandmother and my mother handkerchiefs from Keepsake
I got them today and they are so pretty!
To My Grandmother On My Wedding Day
The sweetest gift I ever received from you
never came from a fancy store.
It wasn’t wrapped with ribbons
but it meant so much more.
The best gift you gave to me
was one you gave me day by day
loving me for just who I am
unconditional love is the gift you gave.
I want to thank you for that
and most of all that I
am the most blessed on earth
to have my Grandmother by my side.
I know I might not have told you enough
but I hope you can see
that I love you with all my heart…..
for giving the gift of you to me.
To My Mother On My Wedding Day
There are no words made to say thank you
to someone who gave her heart away.
Someone I’m proud to call my Mother
who’s guided me all along life’s way.
I’ve kept your words hidden in my heart
so I can live life the way you taught me.
A life filled with grace, honor and love
to be everything I was meant to be.
I know I’m the most blessed bride on earth.
I’ll be thinking of memories only you and I know
memories of a little girl and her Mother.
