If one person bought our entire set of good china, that would definitely be the most expensive item on the registry. For an individual item - either the Caphalon cookware or the Henckles knives.

The single most expensive thing is a Dyson vac. 500. But we also registered for fine china at 109 each times 12 settings

I have a few items in the 500 range, vaccuum, flatware, knives, pot set. Never know what you may get as gifts.

A $400 vaccum. i think you need to have a wide range of things (my cheapest is $3.99) People want options. Keep the stuff you mentioned, I'd add some pricer things as well. just make sure there's a really good mix.

Re: What's the most expensive thing on your registry?

I'm not super sure what is the most expensive thing, probably something from my china. in all honesty, i think you need an array of options for the guests- some will want to spend more than others. it just depends.

also, one of the women who helped at us macy's said it best..it's a wish list in essence, they don't have to buy it for you.

Our cookware set was almost $600. I'd definitely keep it on. Worse comes to worse, no one buys it for you and perhaps you buy it yourself with a 10% registry completer coupon. Some people may be more generous than you think.
