What a total sweetie, he is precious!!!!!!! Just passing along some My parents' best friends have a son with severe autism and their younger two daughters have no sign of autism.
I'll keep you in my prayers, there are so many support groups out there. You are not alone

Re: NWR: But I need some support right now...
Hey, do you know what form of autism it is yet? I have worked with kids for two years and some of those kids with autism have been the most funny and intelliegent kids I have ever worked with.. Make sure when he goes to school he is in a good school district that supports good programs for him.. no boces.. Look into Gersh Academy (i used to work there, its a private school basically for kids with tourettes, aspergers and autism) It is genetic, and it does run in the family ususally always from the father. Let me know if i can help if you need any other info..

He is absolutely precious-there are so many different options you have-just keep strong and keep up hope! Obviously they both have very loving parents and to a child that is all that really matters!
for you and your family

Re: NWR: But I need some support right now...
I used to work with kids who had autism. Not every sibling gets it - in fact there's no real determing who will get it or not. There are not sure what causes it or if it's genetic. Once you know what to look for, you will be able to recognize it (but hopefully that won't be the case). A ton of hugs go out your way
If you want resources, etc, please FM me.

Luke's special ed teacher also said she would help me watch for signs in the baby. Thank you so much for your kind words!
