Any Fox Hollow Brides go to see Gina, the wedding planner?

I have an appointment to meet with Gina (wedding planner) next Tuesday and was wondering what to expect. Will I be attending a seminar with a bunch of people or is this a one on one meeting? Just curious if I should be taking my FH or if it's ok to bring mom along instead. Thanks.

For our first appointment with Gina, it was a seminar. She basically told you a few things about Fox Hollow, then she went on to push all of their house vendors. Most brides were there with their FH, but a few brought along their moms.

She's the planner at the WM too ... you can bring MOM

she'll just give you an overview of what to book at the wedding - they definitely do plug their vendors - and we booked them too. :-) My FH came with me - which was a good experience, but he really need not be there! Good LUck!

Great, thanks for getting back to me. I figured it would be about their vendors, just wanted to make sure. My FH has class that night, and I didn't want to go along, just wanted to make sure bringing mom would be ok. Thanks again.

Was it worthwhile?

We're having our reception at the Westbury Manor-and haven't had a chance (or the time) to meet with Gina, yet. Did you find the planning seminar worthwhile? I'm familiar with most of their house vendors, and have booked/am booking some already. Getting out to the WM during the week is a bit difficult for me. Just wondering if I'm missing something important. Thanks, ladies. Happy planning!!

I met with her this week. The binder she gives is helpful with things you might not have thought of that need to be done. Some of the vendors were there giving out samples. They even fed you which the fiance loved!

thats true, now that I remember my fiancee had two coors lt's when we were there and plenty of apetizers! You also get coupons in the binder for certain vendors, like I think I got a free 11X14 b/w from cassarinos in there alot of the vendors in there have stuff

I attended a seminar last week. It was very informative. Gina is no longer with Perfect Wedding Planner. However, the event coordinators at the seminar were excellent and very helpful. They provided a great deal of resources and insightful advice. I do not believe they necessarily pushed their house vendors. Some vendors were there and spoke of their services. All in all, I thought it was worth attending. The event planners do one-on-one appointments as well. But I think you have to be getting married at one of the Scotto Brothers facilities to use them.

I went last night to the seminar. I also thought it was worth the time going. Now that I have all the information I need, it's time to start planning again. I don't even know where to begin. I guess my first step is trying to figure out where we will get married. Being that it is an interfaith marriage, we want a neutral place..... we would consider Fox Hollow but we would like some time in between the ceremony and cocktail hour so that we can take pictures and then attend the cocktail hour. So I think that is my most important thing to take care of, finding a place for the ceremony and finding officiants. All in all, I think Fox Hollow was a wonderful choice. They seem very helpful and I'm sure our day will be wonderful.

Scotto Brothers NEW coordinator is GREAT

When I booked the Westbury Manor - we were scheduled to go to a seminar to meet JOSEPH - he was EXCELLANT and really funny too! At the seminar, we scheduled a private appointment with him and he has really great ideas and innovative money saving tips - my mom loved him too!

im glad you had a good experience, when we went to the westbury manor, the man we met with was SO rude and pompous, we couldn't wait to get out of there!! It's been said before, how much of a difference the coordinators/banquet managers can make with their first impressions! We didn't even want to look at another scotto brothers place because of this jerk!
