we're getting 'family' stationary-nice stationary with our monogram or last intial. we're also going on trip toward the end of the year-but that is less anniversary and more about getting away before DH goes on his deployment (if he gets leave.)

Since the first anniversary is "paper" we bought tickets to a broadway show and DH gave me a dozen paper roses.. they are definitely the best dozen roses he ever gave me - I still have them on display and my cat doesn't try to eat them!

We both went away but I wanted to still give him something. The say you should give "paper" for your first anniversary so I bought him concert tickets.

Still trying to figure it out---we joked about it today since our anniversary and my bday are a month apart---but we are going to COsta Rica for 10 days for our first anniversary!
