How big is it- with poll
Today I read that the average size of an engagement ring is .75 ct however another site says the average size is .18 ct. I guess they were polling 2 different states. So that made we wonder what the average size is in Long Island. Take the poll and we'll find out. COnsider the center stone only, not the total weight if you have more than 1 diamond.

mine is in my avatar...the center stone is 3.01 carats VS1 clarity F color and the sapphires are 1 carat each and the side baguettes are .35 points each VS1 clarity G color.

mine is .83 carats, not an option on the poll! haha... it may be small by LI standards, but I love it... and it's truly a flawless diamond, so it's clarity is awesome....

Mine is 2.11cts for the center stone and 10 round diamonds surrounding it totalling just over 3 carats for the entire ring.

I couldnt vote, it wasnt up there but 1.77ct center stone that originally had baguettes on each side but we just had the setting changed to fit my wed band.

Center is a little over 1.5 and the 10 side pave-set diamonds equal a little over .5 so the total ring is a little bit over 2.
