Who is good at song choices and interpretation?
I am trying to pick a song to dance with my dad to. He loves Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones, & Elvis.
Under planning - songs - they have Landside by Fleetwood Mac. I am assuming this song is appropriate since it is listed as a father & daughter song...any thoughts?

I like Landslide but I dont know what shes talking about. How about "The wonder of you" from Elvis. I danced with my Brother to that.

I LOOOOOOOOOVE landslide and I've Always wanted to dance with my dad to that song. I think it is truly beautiful! And I think she is talking about growing up and getting older. Thats just my guess but I think it's a great choice!

"The Wonder of You" will be our last song of the night. I LOVE that!!!
How about "Memories" by Elvis... I was thinking of dancing to that with my mom:

landslide is the song my dad and i danced to, so of course i say go with it!!
my first memory is sitting on the living room floor with my dad listening to fleetwood mac records... and weve been to see them in concert together twice... so it had to be this for us!
i think shes just talking about getting older and things changing, but shes saying " take my love" because it will always be there... at least thats how i see it! good luck!

That's true! In the last live version of the song she sang she even says something like "this for you Dad"

I was at a wedding where the bride & her father danced to that song. It was really very beautiful & I've always liked that song ever since. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house...even her stoic father was teary LOL.
