Help with south beach diet!!
I have decided to start the South Beach Diet, but I don't have the book yet. What foods are unlimited? I am mostly concerned about snacks. I have a good idea about what to eat for main courses so I just need some snack suggestions. Thanks!

one of my favorite snacks:
A stick of low fat string cheese with 15 almonds.
You can also register on their website and get advice and meal plans - I liked it much better than the book.

sugar free fudgicicles.
You can also scrape the fudgecicle off the stick and add a tablespoon of Peanut Butter to make "chocolate peanut butter ice cream"

Does anyone know...in the book it gives you the meal plan for the first 14 days. I don't eat meat so I am going to alter it a bit. Also, they have a lot of things listed as foods you are allowed that are not included in those 14 day plans. Is that a suggested meal plan or are you supposed to follow it exactly?
