Sensitive subject

I'm almost afraid to talk about it, but I need to find a good dentist. What I mean by 'good' is one who is not judgemental, won't look down on me and speak to me in a negative way. I haven't been to the dentist in years and I know I will need a LOT of work done. I would prefer one in Eastern or Central Suffolk and with many payment/insurance options. If you could recommend one to me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Lyssa

Re: Sensitive subject

I loooooved Dr. Laura Zanelli in Melville.

She was the sweetest dentist I've ever met - and I could never imagine her talking down to someone.

I won a whitening package from her at the bridal expo, and while I was there, i was so embarassed because i have about 8700 fillings , ugly teeth spaces, etc. She never judged me, ONCE.

She's right off the Northern State Parkway - very easy to get to.

Dr. Sumner in Sachem Dental Group, they have many offices, I go to the one on Hawkins Ave. I hate the dentist too, but he's great and explains everything he does. He's great!

Re: Sensitive subject

i love love love Dr. K in Stony Brook... he's a very nice man and really down to earth. he works out of his house and the people in his office are very friendly too. he came highly recommended to me and i am so happy i went!! he was the one who saved me b/c without me knowing it, my wisdom teeth had to come out really bad! so i was lucky enough to get them out before i had nerve damage and he was the one who caught it and helped set me up to get them out!!

I haven't been to the dentist's in years. I feel the same way you do. They make me feel bad that I don't floss and not coming more regular. I don't need the guilt trip, just take care of my teeth.

I have a great dentist in Plainview - I live in Huntington and its worth the drive - FM me if interested - they never look down on me or my cruddy teeth - my FH has no dental so his teeth arent the best - he went there once last year (the only time we could afford it) and they were very nice to him...
